The sanctuary state of California is a progressive paradise, at least on paper. It is home to the formerly “clean” streets of picturesque San Francisco, the tolerant liberals at UC Berkley, UCLA, and a host of other outrageously priced institutions for higher learning, and illegal immigrants with violent criminal records who are treated with less disdain than conservative Republicans.
Take Alejandro Alvarez-Villegas – a man deported 11 times – who viciously attacked his wife with a chainsaw in front of their children.
Hey California, maybe it’s time you follow the rule of law and adopt harsher punishments for repeat offenders and their enablers.
