Tammy Lawrence-Daley was the victim of a violent assault while staying at a resort in the Dominican Republic. The resort she stayed at made little effort to find her after her husband and friends demanded they search for her several times. When she was eventually found she was immediately rushed to the hospital where she was treated for her severe injuries. She is still coping with the mental damage, physical disfigurement, and lasting injuries from the attack.
