The 2019 off-year elections are over and if you believe the mainstream media a blue wave shellacked Republicans coast-to-coast.
There’s just one problem: It didn’t.
While Republicans didn’t emerge unscathed, particularly at the top of the ticket in Kentucky, in Virginia, and in Eastern Pennsylvania, the Grand Old Party scored historic victories in the Deep South, Western Pennsylvania, Kentucky (at every level below governor), and New Jersey.
Moreover, it’s essential to look at the dynamics affecting individual races. Teacher strikes and gaffes marred Republican Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin’s first term. Virginia has increasing turned blue thanks to the arrival of liberal transplants in the D.C. suburbs.
While there are signs conservatives shouldn’t ignore, namely the battering the GOP took in Philadelphia’s historically Republican suburbs, the media reports of a decisive liberal victory on Tuesday is a BALD-FACE LIE if you look at the full results.
