Was Comey involved in the investigation directly? It seems as if he had to have known about it because of the level of scrutiny obtaining a FISA warrant requires. If we do not see his signature on the application then we need a full accounting into how a judge let that get through without the FBI chief’s explicit approval. Conversely, if we do see his signature then we have to look into the leaks again and see if any go back to him and how much Comey’s Trump animus corrupted the investigation.
