Liberal bureaucrats have begrudgingly taken away a major incentive for voter fraud, by finally removing over one million registered ineligible voters from one county’s voter rolls.
Los Angeles County announced they have finally removed 1,207,613 ineligible voters from its rolls since last year, under the terms of a settlement agreement in a federal lawsuit filed in 2017 by the non-profit public interest law firm, Judicial Watch.
“This long overdue voter roll clean-up of 1.2 million registrations in Los Angeles County is a historic victory and means California elections are less at risk for fraud,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “Building on this success, Judicial Watch will continue its lawsuits and activism to clean up voter rolls and to promote and protect cleaner elections.”
Judicial Watch and the Election Integrity Project California, Inc., a public interest group involved in monitoring California’s voter rolls, filed the suit on their behalf, as well as on behalf of four lawfully registered voters in Los Angeles County.
The county had been required by federal law to remove ineligible voters, but failed to do so. Judicial Watch reports Los Angeles County “had allowed more than 20 percent of its registered voters to become inactive without removing them from the voter list.”
634,000 of the inactive voters hadn’t voted in at least 10 years.
Failing to maintain accurate voter rolls creates an incentive for voter fraud, by giving fraudsters a large number of dead or relocated voters from which to request ballots, which are then fraudulently cast by someone using the dead or relocated voter’s name. Such cases are generally rare and only involve the casting of one or a small number of ballots.
“Under the terms of the settlement agreement, Los Angeles County sent almost 1.6 million address confirmation notices in 2019 to voters listed as “inactive” on its voter rolls. Under the federal National Voter Registration Act (NVRA), voters who do not respond to the notices and who do not vote in the following two federal elections must be removed from the voter rolls. The settlement also required an update to the state’s online NVRA manual to make it clear that ineligible names must be removed and to notify each California county that they are obliged to do this,” Judicial Watch reports.
LISTEN UP…HOW about Cleaning Up TRASHED VOTES…SWITCHED VOTES…DEAD PEOPLE VOTES…ANIMALS VOTES etc etc. AMERICA needs ELECTION and IMMIGRATION REFORM. WAKE UP AMERICA this is the Age of TECHNOLOGY. So what is Wrong in this PICTURE. FIGURE it OUT. From SamuraiQueen aka CHIAKIA. 😄😄😄😇😇😇😉😉😉
Well ain’t that just dandy how are the leftist in callyfornikate going to harvest these illegal ballots and cheat now huh! Let’s Go commie joe the traitor!
Nothing much to celebrate considering the corrupt CA politicians you’re dealing with.
The 1st problem is a bunch of people should have been locked up for dragging their feet and taking over 5 years to remove 1.2 million voters, when in todays world someone could have written a quick algorithm in a few days to identify and remove the illegal people still on the rolls. Especially with all the Silicon Valley nerds right around the corner.
The 2nd problem is that I didn’t see any mention that anyone is validating that 1.2 million is a correct number. Knowing the extent of the number of corrupt Politicians in California, it wouldn’t surprise me if the true number of voters who should have been removed is closer to 12 million.
I wouldn’t trust anything coming out of California!!!
But guessing still won’t change any office it caused to lose the race cause of voters fraud
