Rep. Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla.) said he’s “happy to meet” Stormy Daniel’s attorney Michael Avenatti in the ring after Avenatti attempted to goad Donald Trump Jr. into a mixed martial arts fight. (Washington Examiner)
“It’s ridiculous that @MichaelAvenatti would even challenge @DonaldJTrumpJr to a fight,” Mullin, a former professional mixed martial arts fighter, tweeted Tuesday. “But if he’s looking for a publicity stunt, I‘d be more than happy to meet him on the mat.”

Avenatti reportedly proposed last week during the Vanity Fair New Establishment Summit that he was “in” on a three-round mixed martial arts fight with Trump Jr. in which proceeds would go toward charity.
Later, Avenatti responded to an NBC reporter who tweeted about the proposition and said: “This would be for two great causes. I’m in.”
Mullin is a staunch defender of President Trump and traveled with Trump Jr. during the 2016 campaign.
According to a Mullin spokesperson, as a former professional MMA fighter, the congressman welcomes the opportunity to raise money for a good cause.
