The money funding the caravan (logistics aren’t cheap) is coming from somewhere, folks.
No one knows for sure who’s behind it, although Vice President Mike Pence told President Trump in front of the White House press pool, “I spoke to President [Juan Orlando] Hernandez of Honduras. He told me that the caravan that’s now making its way through Mexico headed for the southern border was organized by leftist organizations and financed by Venezuela.”
What we do know is that it is expensive to get all the way to the U.S. border from Honduras. The trip requires ample food, water, and the caravan has opted to uses buses and trucks to move people along the way as well.
