In 1973 an envoy of the Israeli Government was assassinated by who many believe was a Palestinian terrorist. Yosef Alon returned from a night out with his wife when a man pulled up to his driveway and gunned him down. The day after the incident a Palestinian radio station began singing the praises of the assailant, the radio station also revealed that the assassination was in return for the assassination of a Palestinian terrorist.
