A DNA test confirms Hunter Biden, son of Democratic presidential nomination frontrunner Joe Biden, fathered an Arkansas woman’s child, the latest scandal to hit the Biden family.
“Lunden Roberts, 28, has been demanding since May for Hunter, 49, to take a test to prove he is the father of her baby, despite his continued denials that he wasn’t,” The Daily Mail reports.
The Mail cites a court filing declaring “’The DNA testing has established with scientific certainty that [Hunter] is the father of the plaintiff’s child.”
Biden previously denied fathering the child. The blonde-haired, blue-eyed, athletic Roberts was previously a student at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., where she likely met Biden.
Roberts is suing Biden for legal fees and child support. According to court filings, she may also seek Secret Service protection for the now-15-month-old child. As a grandchild of a former vice president and presidential candidate who receives threats, the child may be eligible.
It’s the latest scandal for Hunter Biden, whose cozy job with a Ukranian natural gas company while his father was vice president set into motion a chain of events leading to impeachment charges against President Donald Trump and a possible investigation into Joe Biden.
He was discharged from the Navy for testing positive for cocaine in 2013. Biden claims he unknowingly used cocaine when he smoked a cigarette that had been laced with it.
Biden has been married twice. He married Kathleen Buhle in 1993 and the pair had three children before separating in 2015 and divorcing in 2017.
While still legally married to Buhle he began a relationship with his late brother’s widow, which began about a year after the death. In May 2019 he married a South African filmmaker.
