Former Rep. John Dingell (D-Mich.) died peacefully in hospice care yesterday announced the congressional office of his wife, Rep. Debbie Dingell (D).

Dingell had served in the House of Representatives from 1955 to 2015, during 11 presidential administrations. (Mediaite)
