An active shooting situation has unfolded at Henry Pratt Company in Aurora, Illinois, a Chicago suburb of 200,000.
Initial reporting remains scant but suggests at least four Aurora police officers and multiple civilians were wounded.

Per ABC 7:
John Probst, a Henry Pratt employee who escaped the building, said he saw a man holding a pistol with a laser scope. He said he recognized the shooter as a coworker.
BREAKING: Witness John Probst telling us on the air he saw shooter, who he says was a fellow employee, with a pistol and laser. Probst ran from building, heard shots and saw at least one person bleeding.

Probst said he saw other coworkers injured and that the shooter was firing indiscriminately.
“One of the guys was up in the office, he said this person was shootin’, and, he come running down and he was bleeding pretty bad, and the next thing you know he was walking back and forth, I heard more shots, and we just left the building,” Probst said.
Probst said he and a coworker escaped through the back door.
At 3:00 p.m. central time, the City of Aurora tweeted that the shooter had been apprehended. First responders are searching the area for other survivors.
