George Mason is a lesser-known Founding Father but nevertheless a legend. He helped form the fabric of our country, from fighting alongside the Virginia Patriots in the American Revolution to his eloquent articulation of Inalienable rights, which inspired Thomas Jefferson, the author of the Declaration of Independence. Mason stated this in reference to advice that was given to the British Parliament by Sir William Keith.
