Mike Gravel is a former senator from Alaska who is famous for fighting against the Vietnam War and reading the Pentagon Papers into the Congressional record. Gravel announced his campaign on April 8th. The 88-year-old’s campaign is being run by students from a high school and a nearby college interestingly enough.
