The Dallas police shooting was the deadliest incident for first responders since 9/11. Micah Johnson, the shooter, stated that he wanted to kill white people – especially cops – over several controversial killings of African Americans by police officers across the country.
Johnson killed five officers before police cornered and killed him with C-4 explosives attached to a bomb disposal robot.
