Appearing on ABC’s “This Week” with host, and former Clinton family political adviser, George Stephanopoulos, Hillary Clinton admitted the United States are not winning the war against the terrorist group ISIS.

Can you say today that we’re winning the fight against ISIS?” asked Stephanopoulos.

“We have to turn our attention to the very sophisticated propagation of this new threat from ISIS,” she said in her response. “We’re not winning, but it’s too soon to say that we are doing everything we need to do.”

The threat of ISIS first emerged in 2009, when the commander of US forces in Iraq, General Ray Odierno, stated the group “has transformed significantly in the last two years. What once was dominated by foreign individuals has now become more and more dominated by Iraqi citizens.”

Despite General Odierno’s warnings, the group was dismissed as “the JV team” and the State Department ignored the threat.

Clinton’s comments seem to indicate that whomever was Secretary of State in 2009 failed at her job.
