Students at Hofstra University demanded that a statue of Thomas Jefferson be taken down. The students held a second protest trying to get the statue removed after their first protest failed when the president of the University came out to say that the statue would remain.
The question has become how much longer will the statue remain up? As opposed to, will it be staying up?
