Danielle Pickering is a mother whose son Micah was born early at 22 weeks. She was “scared to death,” she says, and didn’t know if he would survive. Now, Micah is a healthy, growing boy.
If Hillary Clinton had her way, Pickering noted in a new Susan B. Anthony List pro-lifead, her son would never have been born. Clinton, the Democratic nominee for president, has recently insisted that unborn babies have no constitutional rights.
“For somebody to say that a baby at 20 weeks doesn’t have the right to live, I want to tell them to come and see Micah,” Pickering said.
Most American voters would agree with Pickering, according to a new Marist poll. The survey of 1,000 people found that about 80 percent support abortion restrictions and 62 percent oppose taxpayer funding of abortion.
