According to their own itinerary, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib chose to refer to Israel as “Palestine”.

Controversial lawmaker Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez rushed to the defense of Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu barred them from entering his country.
Ocasio-Cortez blasted Netanyahu – ignoring Omar and Tlaib’s anti-Semitism, association with organizations linked to groups like Hamas, and support for the Boycott, Sanctions, and Divestment movement.
MoC are frequently asked to visit Israel to “see things for ourselves.”
But Netanyahu choosing to ban the only 2 Muslim women in Congress from entering tells the US that only *some* Americans are welcome to Israel, not all.

According to Townhall:
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) tore into Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after he announced he would not permit Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) entry for an upcoming trip to Israel and the Palestinian territories.
“[Members of Congress] are frequently asked to visit Israel to ‘see things for ourselves,’” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. “But Netanyahu choosing to ban the only 2 Muslim women in Congress from entering tells the US that only *some* Americans are welcome to Israel, not all.”
…
Netanyahu defended the decision to deny entry to the two congresswomen, saying the move is in line with a new law that would prevent any supporter of the Boycott, Divest and Sanction movement against Israel from visiting the country.
“The two-member congressional visitation plan shows that their intent is to hurt Israel and increase its unrest against it,” Netanyahu said in a statement.

Such a diplomatic embarrassment by two people who wanted to embarrass a US ally. https://t.co/mE7f0XS8vl

“Can you believe Israel banned those two terrorist-sympathizing anti-Semites from entering its country?” cried the writer whose co-workers had a complete meltdown over the thought of a guy who opposes baby murder working on the same floor as them.

On top of that, Omar compared the BDS movement to the Boston Tea Party and Tlaib equated its activities to the anti-Nazi boycott of 1933.
