The Black Bloc is a loosely tied together group of individuals who wear all black and fight against “capitalism” and corporations. They first emerged in anti-war protests during the early 2000s and their tactics were adopted by Antifa, their cultural successor. The term “Black Bloc Tactics” is used to describe their strategy of dressing in all black and crowing around a target or group of targets to attack them, one individual in the group attacks and due to the concealing clothing and similarity in dress the perpetrator gets away.
