The PHASR Rifle is a relatively new form of weaponry the US military is experimenting with. PHASR is a non-lethal weapon that disables its targets with a low-intensity laser. The beam renders targets blind and dazed for a few minutes. Although still a prototype, this weapon could become the perfect tool for capturing high-value targets, like Gen. Soleimani’s replacement, Esmail Ghaani.
