David A. Keene recently joined his friend Ken Blackwell for an in-depth conversation about the unprecedented state of our country.

Ken has enjoyed a successful career with the Republican Party, coinciding with the rise of modern American conservatism. He eventually became Ohio’s secretary of state and is currently a Senior Fellow at the Family Research Council.

The two men discuss the progressive fallacy that America is implacably racist. As absurd as this may seem to any history student, leftists have a huge advantage, having seized control of the education system decades ago.

WATCH:

The 1619 Project is the latest example of how the far-left supplanted its uncompromising ideology over history. Even the Great Emancipator, Abraham Lincoln, is rendered a white supremacist. Part of this perverted worldview comes from the flawed belief that contemporary liberals consider themselves morally superior to anyone in any generation that preceded them. Perhaps another part comes from wanting to see white liberals engage in self-flagellation. This belief system fails to acknowledge that we are all fallible and a product of our time and space. The Founding Fathers’ genius was that they knew that, and they created an extraordinary Constitution, which could be amended.

An unequivocal supporter of the Second Amendment, Blackwell also discusses how the NRA has helped the black community, something its opponents are loath to admit.

This type of open form interview is one you wouldn’t see on television as it’s not compatible with that format. It enables substantive discussions over issues that matter to you instead of promoting soundbites. Tell us what you think of it in the comments below!

America is a country comprised of peoples from all over the world. Every ethnicity and “race” that has come to or started in America benefits from the foundation of the Constitution, which guarantees freedoms unequaled anywhere in the world. To demonize the founding fathers or past presidents, fallible though we and they all are, is to ignore the fact that people in America, regardless of their heritage, have opportunities and freedoms that are incomparable in the hundreds of other countries on this planet. Native Americans no longer go to war and enslave members of other tribes. Blacks no longer have to deal with being enslaved or socially and economically repressed as they were in many of their countries of origin. The same is true of every group of people who came to this country to escape either persecution or lack of opportunity to achieve the amazing things one can still accomplish in America. It is only the lazy, self-depricating n’er-do-wells who look to establishing a self destructive socialistic/communistic government to treat everyone equally diminutive and destructively. I praise those who are willing to stand up and recognize we are responsible for our own welfare. The government is not our parent and we will not and should not look to the government to sustain us. It is a self-defeating mentality and has never, in the history of mankind, worked in any meaningful way. Eventually the Sheeple grow teeth and rebel and demand freedom to fail or succeed based on their own efforts and accomplishments.

Multi Culturalism is fast destroying America’s oneness that has kept us together and strong a long time. There are cultures being imported to America that refuse to become American. Some even hate us and we still let them in. We are feeding the predators.

The commiecrats are the real racists. I recently drove through Beckley WV. A road there is still named after Robert KKK Byrd. The darling of the commiecrats. Killery Clinton and retard Biden still speak highly of him.

These two men said so much in so few words explaining our current situation. Thank you gentlemen, thank you. The picture of the children in the background, their future is at stake more now than ever. Look what the Liberal NEA had done to the school system over the last twenty/thirty years. Nothing but brain deadened good Liberals that do not think for themselves. The riots are full of them thinking they are doing good. Unfortunately they do not see the damage they are doing to the families that live there. One final point, I have noticed over the years that Democrat Liberals never look at the long term effects of their doings.

I am a 71 Year Old African American Veteran who Claims Christianity! “The Problem with the “1619 Project” is it’s Myopic Approach to Only the Shortcomings of America? Little is Said about the Greatest Standard of living every Created in History!” It Fails to Mention the Accomplishments of African Americans who Have Chosen to Compete and join in the American Dream! “I am African American, and I AM NOT A VICTIM?” I am a Child of God Endowed with Inalienable Rights who Lives in the Freest Country on Earth! “Thank God!”

I agree 100%. America is for everyone who wants the freedom to achieve or fail.
We may look differently, but there is just one human race here and a blended culture
…that promotes the freedoms that are so firmly written into our Constitution. 🙂

I’d like to make a point, if I may. You’re not an African-American. You may happen to be Black, but you’re an American. God bless us all.

God bless you Rocker.
As a black man, I see myself first as a child of God who happens to be black. I have traveled all over the world among many races and tribes. Never rely on my color but my Identity in Christ.
As a Christian with the right mindset, you never succumb to color of the skin nor a victim of flawed system.

Gen 26-31 and he said it was very good. GOD made everyone and thing as he wanted it and he’s in control. He made a lion a lion. He made a tiger a tiger and on and on. That how he wanted it and that is the way it is. No one person is better than the other because of their skin color. It is how they act and do either good or bad. GOD is watching it’s all in his plan.
