If there’s anything Kamala Harris hates, it’s not being allowed to arrest people.

The California senator, Democrat presidential candidate, and mass incarceration enthusiast canceled a campaign event at a South Carolina after learning the school gave President Donald Trump an award for signing prison reform legislation.

“Harris, whose presidential campaign has floundered in recent weeks, was supposed to attend a criminal justice forum on Saturday at Benedict College, a historically black institute of higher learning located in Columbia, South Carolina,” Breitbart reports. “The California Democrat, however, opted to cancel the appearance after the college honored Trump on Friday for his work in advancing criminal justice reform.”

Harris even accused Trump of “decades of celebrating mass incarceration,” despite the fact she’s spent decades pushing mass incarceration as the solution to any problem, going so far as to jail parents for their kids missing school.

She even attacked Trump for “pushing the death penalty for innocent Black Americans,” but her own record of doing that was ripped open by Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard in a presidential debate.

“She blocked evidence that would have freed an innocent man from death row until the courts forced her to do so,” Gabbard said in a July Democrat debate in Detroit.

“When you were in a position to make a difference and an impact in these people’s lives, you did not,” Gabbard said. “And worse — in the case of those on death row — innocent people? You actually blocked evidence that would have freed them.”

“She kept people in prisons beyond their sentences to use them as cheap labor for the state of California. She put over 1,500 people in jail for marijuana violations and then laughed about it when she was asked if she ever smoked marijuana,” Gabbard added.
