2.) 1983 Beirut Marine Barracks Bombing

The 1983 bombing in Beirut was horrific and took the lives of 241 U.S. troops. The attack was believed to have been carried out by Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed terror group. In total, 305 people lost their lives in the bombings, 241 U.S. troops, 58 French soldiers, and six civilians.
