CNN anchor Chris Cuomo suggested President Trump admitted his use of the anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine in part to distract from new revelations linking a terror attack to Al-Qaeda. As The Daily Wire reports:
CNN’s Chris Cuomo suggested on Monday that President Donald Trump announced that he is taking hydroxychloroquine because he wants to “cover up his weaknesses,” which Cuomo said included the revelation yesterday that the terror attack last year on a military base in Florida was connected to al-Qaeda.
Cuomo’s segment last night comes after he has given repeated softball interviews to his brother, New York Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo, who has had by far the worst response to the coronavirus pandemic of any governor and is now facing a possible investigation into his nursing home scandal.
“So our president wants to talk about how strong he is to take hydroxychloroquine because he just does everything he can to make himself strong and make this country strong,” Cuomo said on Monday night. “And I hope doing whatever he does keeps him strong, science notwithstanding. I know this much, I don’t know that it will help with his health, but it certainly helps to cover up his weaknesses.”

Cuomo’s claims are, of course, utterly baseless and based on nothing more than the delusions of his own imagination. Yet another reason why more and more Americans are losing trust in the mainstream media.
