MSNBC’s Al Sharpton has voiced concerns that the Democrats aren’t doing well with Black and Latino voters. Sharpton believes the only factors giving Democrats a chance this midterm election season is the presence of Donald Trump, and Republicans’ stances on Roe v Wade and abortion as a whole.
Shapton has built a career off race-baiting, and while acting as if Black rights are at the top of his priorities, his main priority appears to be acting more as advertising to the Democratic party.

MSNBC’s Rev. Al Sharpton said Monday that Democrats are having a hard time “connecting” and that former President Donald Trump and abortion were the only reasons they were “in the game.”
“The question is are Democrats doing what it makes to keep those who have loyally voted Republican, are Democratic voting Democratic because right now, you have people of color breaking away from the Democratic Party and you have white college educated suburban voters breaking away from Republicans, so it’s creating a real flux,” “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough said.
Scarborough said that Democrats are “really fighting history” in this election.
He said earlier in the segment that it “doesn’t look like” abortion, “Republican radicalism” and the Jan. 6 hearings will be enough for the Democratic Party to “bend history.”
Politico’s Jonathan Lemire said the odds were “against” Democrats but that abortion and multiple other factors are why the Senate is in “play.”
Donald Trump is polarizing, and Al Sharpton is only looking at one side of that polarization. While Democrats may be taking trips to the moving booth in an effort to keep the ideology they tie to Donald Trump away from power, the Right will use that same polarization to put Trump-like politicians into positions of power, and limit the ideology of the modern left and the Biden Administration.
The Biden Administration has already been on damage control, attempting to brand those aligned politically with Donald Trump as ‘semi-fascist’. However, this isn’t the first time the left has done this; does “alt-right” ring a bell?
