The California Department of Education is now recommending books promoting transgenderism for children in Kindergarten.

As Fox News reports:

The California Department of Education’s recommended reading list promotes books for kindergartners about students transitioning, and for high schoolers about students kneeling during the national anthem.

The recommended reading list is housed in the “curriculum and instruction resources” section of the  California Department of Education’s website, suggesting dozens of books for each age group.

“Call me Max,” a book listed as being appropriate for grades K-2, is about a student who “lets his teacher know that he wants to be called by a boy’s name.”

It also describes Max deciding which bathroom to use. “When I went to the store with my dad, I went to the bathroom with him. When I went to the store with my mom, I went to the bathroom with her. But at school, I had to pick which bathroom to use,” the book read.

The department also promotes pro-trans books targeting middle and high schoolers as well.

  1. Transgenderism is mental illness. Public schools have zero right to teach our children about small groups of mentally ill people like transgenders, sociopaths, psychopaths, schizophrenics, anorexics, phobics, etc. Teach reading, spelling, math, history, but lay off teaching about mental illness and sex.

  2. THIS IS SICK, PERVERTED CRAP THEY ARE PUTTING ON KIDS. WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO READING WRITING MATH BEING TAUGHT IN SCHOOLS. THESE BOARD MEMBERS SHOULD BE CHARGED WITH CHILD ABUSE AND BANNED FROM TEACHING

  3. This will raise the ire of God like nothing else! These godless vile people will pay for all eternity! I can only pity the sick freaks doing this to innocent little kids!

  4. in a short time, we will no longer have any one to volunteer for our military. china just needs to be patient , when we have no soldiers volunteering- they will just walk in and take over- NO resistance at all.

  5. Is this your wording – “Call me Max,” a book listed as being appropriate for grades K-2, is about a student who “lets his teacher know that he wants to be called by a boy’s name.” – that reinforces their error by using male pronouns “his” and “he” when you mean “her” and “she”? Whose side are you on?

  6. They just don’t get it, or want to. When even San Francisco recalls board members over this crap it’s a pretty good indication that parents do not want it in the schools.
