Democrats are already plotting to replace Joe Biden in 2024 with another Democrat as Biden’s approval numbers remain low. The name being floated by some is Democrat California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
Fox News reports:
Axelrod, who served as former President Barack Obama’s chief strategist, made the comments in a Wednesday statement to The New York Times. The 2024 presidential race has been a burning question for Democrats, with no clear heir to Biden and many party members skeptical of whether the president could or should run for a second term.
“If the president were not to run, it’s hard to imagine that Newsom would not be sorely tempted to enter the race,” Axelrod said Wednesday.
“Newsom is young and politically muscular, which may be just what the market will be seeking post-Biden,” he added.
Rumblings of Newsom’s prospects come as Democrats are increasingly abandoning hopes that Biden could run in 2024.
Democrats are seeking younger, fresher blood to replace the 79-year-old politician.
It hasn’t been long since the citizens of California had sound reason to attempt to recall Newsom. This being said, Newsom is sufficiently incompetent enough to substitute for Bungling Biden in the minds of “democratic strategists.” Joe has already given Newsom a head start in driving America into becoming a third world nation and Newsom, based on his California leadership, will surely finish the job if elected.
ABSOLUTELY! The only replacement I can think of roughly equivalent to Joe Biden would be Daffy Duck, and I hear he’s busy this year. Yup, by all means, let the Demos try to put Newsom in the election, it will make it even easier for conservatives, and probably a lot of Dems, will add their vote to our side.
Just think of the field day the GOP would have, reminding voters that Newsom’s policies are why so many people have fled California.
It makes total sense to me.

Well, the Democrats do need to switch to someone younger than someone in his/her 70s so that they can generate interest by Americans in their 20s and 30s in national and international issues. There is so much that young people want to do to prevent further semi-automatic weapon-related massacres, further damage from global warming, and move us to renewable energy grids, just to name a few things.
Among other things, the GOP can draw a straight line from Newsom to DA’s such as Boudin and Gascon, and the crime surge in California.
That has been Newscums’ goal for a long time. He is almost done destroying my once great state, so why not go in to finish destroying our once great nation! What a shithole California has become under his and Jerry Brown’s “leadership”!

In consideration of what the Progressive goals appear to be for the United States and after seeing the job Newsom did in California it’s small wonder the DNC would select him. He’s a more obnoxious speaker than Biden, but that may be to his credit insofar as we can’t tell what Biden is talking about. I wonder if he could win California?
