Florida Governor Ron DeSantis blasted President Joe Biden for his potential order seeking to strip schools who refused to adhere to far-left gender ideology of funding of school lunches.
As The Daily Wire reports:
“In Florida, we are fighting against Biden’s intentionally destructive policies like denying school lunches for states that refuse to implement woke gender ideology in the schools,” DeSantis tweeted on Sunday.

“We’re prepared for what Biden throws our way,” DeSantis said. “And, you know, yes, part of it’s the inflation and the gas — part of it are intentionally destructive policies like trying to deny school lunch programs for states that don’t do transgender ideology in the schools, I mean, give me a break!”
“Totally off his rocker to be doing that,” DeSantis continued. “We’re fighting on that, don’t worry. So we’re just prepared to be able to defend the taxpayers and the hard-working people in the state of Florida, and I couldn’t be prouder for doing that.”
DeSantis was responding to reports that Biden planned to link programs that provide free or low-cost lunches to students to school and state policies, demanding that they adhere to transgender non-discrimination policies. According to the USDA, the move comes as a result of the Biden administration’s expansion — by executive order — of Title IX to include discrimination based on gender identity or sexual orientation.
In the wake of the reports of Biden’s plans, DeSantis was also joined by Governor Governor Kristi Noem (R-SD) openly opposing the plan.

Actually, we are ALL doing better under Biden than we did under Trump. It is because of the Biden recovery from the Covid pandemic that so many people are back on their feet, back on the job, and living the life they did pre-pandemic. However, everybody wants the stuff they had pre-pandemic. Unfortunately, we have a pandemic-related shortage of supplies because so many people were sick in 2020 and 2021 and couldn’t produce what we needed. Gasoline production was halted by Big Oil because few drove in those years, and it has yet to increase to a sufficient level despite Biden’s request to do so. Supply won’t meet demand until 2023, as it takes that long to equilibrate the economy after the once-in-a-lifetime deadly tragedy we all faced.
It truly is hard to believe that this DeSantis guy is a Harvard grad when he behaves like some Hank Williams Jr idiot. As governor, he let so many Florida citizens die just because of his anti-mask, anti-vaccination stance. Elect him President??–That would be national suicide!!

Try again. Show us all where DeSantis did or said anything to show he was criticizing anyone other than the dudnderhead in the WH. It is really hard having an intelligent conversation with anyone who thinks it is appropriate to mandate schools teach about gender, gender preference, LGBTQ+ lifestyles, as well as drag and other adult themes to 5 or 6 year olds. So, I won’t bother…
DeSantis would be perfect to run with Trump. However Florida would need a suitable replacement.
