The cities in Texas and Arizona are hardly backwards or backwoods as you claim. And don’t have the murder rates and level of crime and corruption of the Dem cites like Chicago, New York (before and after Guliani) and LA (or big Tijuana).
Somewhat surprised Jacksonville and Oklahoma City didn’t make the list. Of the largest cities in America, they are the ones usually cited. Anytime I see a list like this I’m disappointed when they don’t disclose the criteria, measurements, sources, and weighting used to derive such lists.
I believe that Gilbert, Arizona, would be among them.
