With less than six months until Americans vote in midterm congressional elections things continue to get worse for Democrats, with only 33 percent of President Joe Biden’s own party saying they approve of the nation’s current direction.
“Overall, only about 2 in 10 adults say the U.S. is heading in the right direction or the economy is good, both down from about 3 in 10 a month earlier,” the Associated Press reports, citing a new poll from the AP and the NORC Center for Public Research.
“Those drops were concentrated among Democrats, with just 33% within the president’s party saying the country is headed in the right direction, down from 49% in April,” the AP reports.
Biden’s approval rating among Democrats is 73 percent, which is much lower than typical presidential approval among his own party. “In AP-NORC polls conducted in 2021, Biden’s approval rating among Democrats never dropped below 82%,” the AP reports.
Approval below 90 percent among a president’s own party is a sign of danger. Donald Trump had 88 percent approval among Republicans when his party lost control of Congress. Barack Obama had 81 percent approval among Democrats when his party lost control of Congress.
The plunge appears to be driven by Democrats believing Biden is incapable of fixing the economy.
“The percentage of Democrats who say Biden’s policies have done more to help dipped from 45% to 37%, though just 18% say they’ve done more to hurt; 44% say they’ve made no difference,” the AP reports.
Other Democrats are convinced Biden is failing because he not leftist enough, even as their own personal situation deteriorates.

“I don’t know how much worse it can get,” said Milan Ramsey, a 29-year-old high school counselor and Democrat in Santa Monica, California, who with her husband had to move into her parents’ house to raise their infant son.
Ramsey thinks the economic dysfunction that’s led to her being unable to afford the place where she grew up isn’t Biden’s fault. But she’s alarmed he hasn’t implemented ambitious plans for fighting climate change or fixing health care.
“He hasn’t delivered on any of the promises. I feel like the stimulus checks came out and that was the last win of his administration,” Ramsey said of Biden. “I think he’s tired — and I don’t blame him, I’d be tired too at his age with the career he’s had.”

I’m an elderly…”an old man”, and probably a little naive but We the people are supposed to elect leaders who are to look out for the best situation for ALL the people. We all Republicans and moderate Democrats know the litany of Bidens personally created problems. But what I dont know is why we cant avoid the red tape and remove president Biden and install the only person who can return us to prosperity or at least back on the path, regardless of party because he has already shown us how to do this. So moderate democrats and Republicans consider returning Trump to the office for the last 2 yrs. to return us to the road to prosperity and forget the childish partisan politics ! ! !

A more erudite, and straight forward method, which is anathema, to liberal leaning individuals, (many)democrats, or others, of any party, or none, must be devised for selecting those who, only then will be selected, through a truly opportune vetting process, to be “the truest” , most honest and caring representatives, given the imperfect human nature of mankind in general, for and to, the people, as not just governing agents, but truly caring and beneficial leaders!!
The removal of all the treasonous Dems is the only way to put America on a path of prosperity. Do not ever let these people gain power again. They lied about their intentions – that alone disqualifies them for office. Plus, all the dimwits Joey appointed, that are all dumber than he is.
