This week, pop star Madonna, 63, tweeted at Pope Francis with an interesting message, claiming she is a “good Catholic.”

Her tweet read, “Hello @Pontifex Francis —I’m a good Catholic. I Swear! I mean I don’t Swear! Its been a few decades since my last confession. Would it  be possible to meet up one day to discuss some important matters ? I’ve been ex communicated 3 times. It doesn’t seem fair. Sincerely Madonna.”

The Daily Wire reports:

According to Page Six, Madonna was denounced by the Catholic Church after a 2006 performance in Rome in which she was “crucified” on stage. The act was deemed blasphemous.

“To crucify herself during the concert in the city of Popes and martyrs is an act of open hostility. It is nothing short of a scandal and an attempt to generate publicity,” the late Cardinal Ersilio Tonini said with Pope Benedict XVI’s blessing.

“The time will come when this woman will realize that Christ died on the cross for her as well, that he spilled his blood for her,” the cardinal continued. “I feel pity for her.”

Madonna was raised Catholic but hasn’t adhered to the tenets of the religion in years.

  1. Hmm, could she be feeling her own mortality ? As we grow older we often do seek a better relationship with God who created man .

  2. Well, who knows?–Madonna is in her 60’s now, so her wild days are over and she may want to return to her spiritual routes so she can set her mind at ease before she goes to the great beyond.

  3. Madonna should give it up and confess her sin and ask forgiveness fervently sincerely to Jesus Christ. He is the only ONE that can forgive her. She has to be sincere in her heart. I believe it a challenge for her. Like a lot of us.

  4. Madonna is one of many Catholics who haven’t adhered to the tenets of the church, including Pelosi, Biden, and all the other hypocrite democrats.

  5. Madonna must save herself! The Pope, or any other religious leader, can’t help you. Good deeds and unselfish behavior will be noticed. God gives EVERYONE choices to make, the right one is usually obvious. No one is beyond redemption. I pray for your enlightenment.

  6. REALLLLLLLY??? This better be some kind of joke, because if it is real, the sky has fallen!
