A new poll is now showing that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is now even with former President Trump when it comes to approval ratings.
As The Washington Examiner reports:
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who weekly dishes up issues and victories on agenda items key to conservatives, has pulled into an approval rating tie with former President Donald Trump.
In the latest Rasmussen Reports survey, DeSantis and Trump are even with a 52% approval in the national poll of likely voters. And he surpasses Trump on the disapproval rating with 33% to the former president’s 45%.
Among those with a “very favorable impression” in the survey, it’s DeSantis over Trump 37%-35%, according to the analysis.
But with Republicans, it’s Trump, 83% favorable, to 76% favorable for DeSantis.
But he says he isn’t runnung. He wants to remain Governor of Florida, and Florida needs him. Trump can only have one more term, so how about DeSantis running after he is finished in Florida.

If Desantis runs, he has my vote. Same principles as REAL Republicans, much less baggage than Trump. A true American who loves the constitution and his country.
Trump has first choice: he’s the PROVEN national leader. If DeSantis becomes nominee at some point, the media will dig up his HS records and every job he has ever held to smear him. I wouldn’t count on low negatives after the woke mobs get done with him.
Either Trump or DeSantis would be find by me. But if DeSantis is nominated, I’ll like to see him appoint Trump Sec. Of State!
