Washington D.C. mayor Muriel Bowser (D) has now announced that her city will finally be ending both its vaccine mandate and its mask mandate.

The Details: D.C.’s vaccine mandate will officially be expiring this week and the mandate for masks indoors will end on March 1st.

Bowser justified the move by citing the decreased number of hospitalizations and deaths in the district.

“COVID is not as deadly as it was” Bowser said.

Full masking of students will still be required in D.C. schools however, a requirement which has draw the ire of many parents.

Looks like the businesses in Virginia are flourishing and DC people are going to Virginia restaurants and businesses. It’s a matter of economics and politics, not public health in DC.

Democrats just can’t let go. they have to soft-shoe their way to dropping the mandates. With bullsh*t reasons. And they’ll forget many of the things they said about the science, and the unvaxxed.
