The abortion rate in the state of Texas has now reportedly plummeted by a shocking 60 percent only months after the state enacted it’s ‘heartbeat law’ which effectively banned abortions after 6 weeks of pregnancy.
As The Daily Wire reports:
In September 2021, the first month after Texas implemented its new abortion law, called the “Heartbeat Act,” which bans abortions once cardiac activity is detected in the baby, usually around six weeks of pregnancy, abortions plummeted a staggering 60% from the previous month.
According to data provided by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, 2,197 abortions were performed in Texas in September while 5,404 abortions had been performed in August. The previous months in 2021 looked like this: January 5,199; February 4,250; March 5,643, April 5,096; May 4,795; June 4,708; and July 4,566. Even considering February, the shortest month, which had the lowest number of abortions prior to September, the September number represented a roughly 50% drop in the number of abortions.
The “Heartbeat Act” states, “A physician may not knowingly perform or induce an abortion on a pregnant woman unless the physician has determined … whether the woman’s unborn child has a detectable fetal heartbeat.” The Act defines a fetal heartbeat as “cardiac activity or the steady and repetitive rhythmic contraction of the fetal heart within the gestational sac.” The Act defines the gestational sac as “the structure comprising the extraembryonic membranes that envelop the unborn child and that is typically visible by ultrasound after the fourth week of pregnancy.”
In September the U.S. Supreme Court allowed the law to go into full effect.

Now in addition to this they need to monitor the cases of child abandonment, and child abuse of a kid less than 1 year old, and they would have a more complete story.

Murder should not be acceptable under ANY state’s law. Except for impregnation via rape, which accounts for VERY few human conceptions, it’s pretty easy for a women, any WOMAN, to keep herself child-free just by restricting her recreational activities to those she can take part in with her clothes on.
You are exactly right!!!!! I could say something a bit more direct but I don’t want to insult a woman who’d never abort a child. I used to not care because I would never have to make that decision. It’s the woman whose gotta live with killing her child. As a man who disagrees with abortion, it’s akin to just physically ripping an infant apart limb by limb. That’s how it affects me.
I am 100% against it. It sickens me how heartless a woman can be to murder a child. Let me be clear. I DO understand why if it’s due to rape or the child will be deformed, Down’s syndrome, etc…It would not be fair to the child because a parent will not outlive a child as it should be and the child would be left alone. In those cases I get it. But not because a woman decides she doesn’t want it. Tough!

A fetus is NOT a baby or a child. I know that it is useless to try to tell this to the so called “pro-life” crazies, but nevertheless, it is a fact. Abortion is NONE of your business. It is the right of the mother to decide. The anti-vax folks are strong on “my body, my choice” about the Covid vaccine mandates, but somehow they seem to ignore the same rules for pregnant women. They are hypocrites, big time.

Doesn’t account for how many women were forced to leave the state of Texas to fulfill their right to choose. God is the all mighty of love, forgiveness, and understanding. He wouldn’t have put these options in our paths if they were not meant to be. Regardless of which way a woman chooses, she is still seen as a child of the lord- always and forever.
