Top Democrat prospect and former failed Gubnernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams decided to skip President Joe Biden visit to her state on Tuesday, in what many are seeing as a sign that many Democrats want nothing to do with his flailing presidency.

Failed Georgia Democrat gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams will not attend a speech on Tuesday by Democrat President Joe Biden on voting rights, which is the top issue that she cares about.
“Abrams welcomed today’s visit from President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris on social media, but she won’t be with them when they speak in Atlanta today. The Democratic candidate for governor cited a scheduling conflict for not being there,” The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. “Several voting rights groups also won’t attend, after saying separately they’ll boycott the Biden-Harris trip promoting voting rights in Atlanta on Tuesday.”
Despite not attending the event, Abrams put out a tweet welcoming Biden, writing: “The fight for voting rights takes persistence. As MLK exhorted, ‘The clock of destiny is ticking out. We must act now before it is too late.’”

“However, some major voting rights groups have expressed opposition to Biden’s visit and are making a point of not attending the event. They are even calling for the president to remain in Washington, D.C., unless he has a plan to reform the Senate filibuster in order to pass voting rights legislation,” Newsweek reported. “Among the groups planning to skip the event are the Asian American Advocacy Fund, Black Voters Matter, GALEO Impact Fund Inc. and New Georgia Project Action Fund.”
Biden may only be one year into his term, but if his popularity in Georgia among his own party is any indication he isn’t off to a strong start.

I am all for voting rights… lets pass voting rights that strip all of these unconstitutional cry babies, traitors, and anti-americans rights away even iof they are “supposed” citizens. They are truly wastes of air… Ok maybe not really strip them as there is free speech but trounc them so hard (or better educate them on the length and depth of the US’s improvements in all of these matters-ok we can always do better but for the vast majority we are doing great- by maybe letting them experience some of what it was like in the past) they realize how far and how much better we have become.
