Delaware Supreme Court Ruling May Reveal Alleged Biden Sex Assault Documents

The Delaware Supreme Court is ordering the University of Delaware to justify its decision to keep President Joe Biden’s Senate papers secret, in a move a former staff assistant to Biden claims may prove he sexually assaulted her.

“Tara Reade, who has accused Biden of sexually assaulting her in 1993 when she worked as a staff assistant to the then-senator, has said that she believes a workplace discrimination and harassment complaint she filed against Biden at the time may be in the records housed at the University of Delaware,” Judicial Watch reports.

Judicial Watch and The Daily Caller News Foundation asked the University of Delaware, which houses the records review Biden’s Senate records, to allow them to review the documents, which are generally available to the public.  The University refused, so JW and the DCNF filed suit.  Delaware Superior Court sided with the University, so JW and the DCNF appealed to the state Supreme Court.

The court ruled “the University of Delaware must provide more information justifying its decision to keep secret its deal to house and restrict access to the U.S. Senate records of President Joe Biden,” Judicial Watch reports.  

“The Delaware Supreme Court reversed the Delaware Superior Court and found that the University of Delaware had not carried its burden justifying its refusal to produce records. The case returns to the Delaware Superior Court for further proceedings,” JW reports.
