Senator Rand Paul laid into Dr. Anthony Fauci on Twitter after the latter claimed that he represented all of ‘science’ during an appearance on ‘Face the Nation’ on Sunday.
As The Daily Wire reports:
On Sunday, speaking in CBS’s “Face The Nation” with host Margaret Brennan, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the chief medical adviser to President Biden boasted, “[I] represent science” while simultaneously referencing those, including those who “spin lies” and “threatens,” “the congressional committees and the Rand Pauls,” and “all that other nonsense.”
Paul fired back on Twitter, “The absolute hubris of someone claiming THEY represent science. It’s astounding and alarming that a public health bureaucrat would even think to claim such a thing, especially one who has worked so hard to ignore the science of natural immunity.”

Paul has targeted Fauci since at least last March, when they got into a heated exchange. Paul asserted to Fauci, “You’ve had the vaccine and you’re wearing two masks. Isn’t that theater?”
Paul asked, “Given that no scientific studies have shown significant numbers of reinfections of patients previously infected or previously vaccinated, what specific studies do you cite to argue the public should be wearing masks well into 2022?”

Those of us in Health Care who’ve been around a while remember Dr. Chicken Little Tony Flopci very well. In the late 80’s, when AIDS reared its ugly face, Old Chicken Little Tony almost single handedly started a Nationwide scare with his interviews on National TV. In spite of the fact, that research was already narrowing down how AIDS was being transmitted (and yes, Research Journals were already publishing their studies [and FLOPCI KNEW THIS]), Tony, full of baloney, told the country AIDS transmitted via casual contact. He predicted millions would die in the first year alone, and by the second year tens of millions would be infected. Public water fountains were shut down, kids were afraid to go to school, families were afraid to sit at the dinner table together, and on and on.
When the hysteria finally settled down, he was called on the carpet, and the little rat bastard LIED his butt off, and blamed the Media for misinterpreting his words.
He was never held responsible and should have been fired back then.
