A new Rasmussen Reports poll finds only 34 percent of Americans believe Joe Biden is doing a “good” or “excellent” job on economic issues.

How bad is that?  That’s less than the 41 percent of Americans who recently told Gallup they believe UFOs are piloted by space aliens.

“A new national telephone and online survey by Rasmussen Reports and The National Pulse finds that just 34% of Likely U.S. Voters rate Biden’s handling of economic issues excellent or good, while 51% now give the president a poor rating on the economy,” Rasmussen Reports announced Monday.  “That’s a significant decline since July, when 42% of voters rated Biden good or excellent on economic issues and 43% gave him a poor rating. “While a majority (62%) of Democrats still rate Biden excellent or good on his handling of economic issues, that view is shared by only 16% of Republicans and 20% of voters not affiliated with either major party. Biden’s positive rating on the economy has dropped 17 points with unaffiliated voters since July. Seventy-eight percent (78%) of Republicans and 60% of unaffiliated voters now give Biden a poor rating on the economy, as do 21% of Democrats,” Rasmussen Reports states.

For comparison, a Gallup poll released Aug. 20 finds 41 percent of Americans believe “some UFOs have been alien spacecraft visiting Earth from other planets or galaxies.”

Americans are more likely to believe in space aliens than believe Biden is handling the economy well.

That number is up significantly since 2019, when only 33 percent said they believed UFOs were piloted by aliens, perhaps showing that after nine months of Joe Biden Americans believe there is more intelligent life on other planets.

One simple measurement of the “job” Biden is doing on the economy is the price of oil/gasoline. Both prices, related to the production of US oil, are UP 100%. That is directly related to the two actions Biden took on his first day in office. Cancellation of the keystone pipeline and elimination of drilling on government lands. There is no way Biden can claim that he had no impact on the price of oil. When you reduce the supply prices will go up. When you have fewer suppliers the remaining suppliers have control over the price. If he and his economic advisors didn’t understand that principle they need to go back to Econ 101. Never vote for this crowd again…..
