Dr. Anthony Fauci is under fire once again, this time for appearing to give his blessing to Halloween celebrations but claiming that Christmas celebrations are too dangerous to hold.
As The Daily Wire reports:
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the top U.S. immunologist, has drawn some fire for being a bit of a Debbie Downer. Most recently, he came under fire for once again saying Americans should not gather to celebrate Thanksgiving or Christmas.
But Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said people should feel comfortable celebrating the upcoming Halloween holiday with their children.
“Halloween is just around the corner, a lot of parents are wondering how to trick-or-treat, do they hand out candy, do they walk around with their children?” host Dana Bash said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “What’s your guidance?”
“I think that particularly if you’re vaccinated, but you can get out there,” answered Fauci. “You’re outdoors for the most part, at least when my children were out there doing trick-or-treating. And enjoy it, I mean this is a time that children love.”
Earlier in the month Fauci claimed that it was ‘too soon’ to tell if Americans would be able to safely gather for the Christmas Holiday.
Halloween is derived from a pagan holiday. Thanksgiving is based on a group of religious freedom seeking Pilgrims thanking God for seeing them safely through their travels to the new world. And of course Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Christ. Seems funny the only one Faux-chi is giving his blessing to is a pagan, tooth decay causing event!
We’re just getting our noses rubbed in (more) liberal shenanigans. ‘Tell you what, why don’t we all just forgo buying Christmas Presents, Trees, Wreaths, Lights and Cooking Feasts with Hams and Turkeys, and not travel to see grandma or Aunt Snooty? We just might get create the impression among (liberal owned) commercial enterprises that….hey….we’re losing MONEY because of liberals!!

Fauci said, following what was quoted in the article, that children should celebrate the holidays that follow. He’s just flip flopping again. Whether this was based on instructions from the politicians or from fear of people knowing his great grandkids will be out I know not. A reminder to raylaser: Christmas is also a remake of the pagan holiday of the Saturnalia, associated with parties and gift giving, even masters serving dinner to slaves. The Christian leaders knew you can’t get rid of “optimo dierum” (the best of days, Catullus), so like Halloween, it was changed to be the time of Christ’s birth.

I don’t know that Dr. Fauci is purposely promoting Halloween over Thanksgiving and Christmas. but I believe the bigger point to all that is going on is simply “whom should I obey, Government or God?” As for me and my family we will serve the Lord and will obey Him over all man-made mandates, orders, decrees, or laws that oppose the revealed will of God from the Bible.
