Washington, D.C. – Reports that Costco, one of the nation’s largest warehouse shopping chains, was no longer offering products manufactured by MyPillow to its members are being met with cheerful enthusiasm by progressives from coast to coast.

On Tuesday MoveOn.org, the leftwing group that pioneered the use of online petitions during the Clinton impeachment sent a message to its followers in which one of them, identified as “Dennis C.” of Tennessee, bragged about how an effort he started led to Costco’s decision to remove MyPillow products from its shelves several months ago.

“Within weeks, my petition grew to tens of thousands of signatures from people across the country, and over 250,000 MoveOn members signed onto my campaign in the following months. In April, I burst out in simultaneous laughter and tears of joy when I heard the good news that Costco stores stopped selling MyPillow products!”

MyPillow was founded by Mike Lindell, a conservative Minnesota businessman who transformed himself into a household name through a series of ads in which he pitched his products that appeared mostly on late night and cable television. An ally of President Donald J. Trump, Lindell campaigned vigorously in support of re-election and, later, was a major supporter of efforts intended to show the results of that election had been significantly tainted by voter fraud.

Lindell’s support for the controversial theory that the 2020 election was “stolen” by the Democrats has proven costly, as it led to the bedding products made by his company being “canceled” by Costco, which currently does not offer them for sale on its website.

When I learned that Costco was selling millions of dollars worth of MyPillow products, I was overwhelmed with confusion, disappointment, and anger. I love Costco and am a regular customer, but MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell is a massive supporter of far-right political activity and pushes conspiracy theories, including those espoused by the mob that stormed the U.S. Capitol.

I didn’t want one of my favorite companies, Costco, helping right-wing extremists make millions of dollars—especially as the gravity of the attack on the Capitol grew more clear by the day.

That’s when I thought of MoveOn and—inspired by previous experiences signing petitions—decided to start a petition of my own in January.

Within weeks, my petition grew to tens of thousands of signatures from people across the country, and over 250,000 MoveOn members signed onto my campaign in the following months. In April, I burst out in simultaneous laughter and tears of joy when I heard the good news that Costco stores stopped selling MyPillow products!1

This would not have been possible without the help of MoveOn members and our collective power. For that, I am eternally grateful.

I encourage you and all MoveOn members to find something that motivates you to start your own petition.

It’s incredibly frustrating at times for me to be living in a “red” state and unsure of who else will share my progressive values. It’s also frustrating to see the national news about how Congress is often slow to act on such massive problems as the rising cost of health care, obstacles to voting rights, fixing racism in the criminal justice system, and implementing immediate action on climate change.

However, my incredible experience working with MoveOn’s team and the free petition platform made the process of promoting and winning my campaign a lot more rewarding than I could have ever imagined.

Thank you to the hundreds of thousands of MoveOn members who signed my petition and remember that each of us has the power to create change when we work together.

Start a petition

Thank you!

  1. Screw Cisco worst place to shop ,subpare products do not know why Mike put his product in great trash shop that us run by a liberal fool.

      1. They have been political since inception—-started in Kirkland,WA.–Owner has always been a real Clinton supporter–extreme left-wing concepts–also a profound jerk–Products are packaged to have customer buy more then they need-etc,etc.

  2. This is BS!! I love My Pillow products!!! And just where do you think you have the right to try to put a company of out business just because of your political preference?? Hey jack, we all have opinions – that is what America is built on (or was)!!!

    1. I too, love COSTCO and I also love my pillow. I will continue to shop there. Mike is just trying to make a living. I respect him for getting off the drugs and making a new life for himself. Great guy.

  3. No problem you can buy these amazing pillows directly as I have. Just go online. Btw, the towels are great to!

  4. The sale of products should not be determined by what political affiliations they have . This cancel culture is a poisonous dreadful entity .

  5. I hope this costs them dearly….if the product was bad, that is one thing but since the executives are big libs, I am not surprised. I will shop for many things elsewhere.

  6. I remember a while back there were protest at Nieman Marcus in Bal Harbor
because the store was selling Ivana Trump clothing,
NM was intimidated by the group of protestors , who I’M sure had never shopped in the store before
Today Neiman Marcus is in deep financial trouble, I know that removing Ivana’s line is not the only reason, but I’M sure it was part of the problem they lost customers ,lost revenues, lost respect

    1. Neiman Marcus cost a fortune to shop there anyway! I hope they suffer the same fate as Lord N Taylor!

  7. MoveOn.org should move on to Communist China and see how nice they’re treated. These foaming mouth liberals would wet their smelly pants. Maybe try a starting a petition in China.

  8. I will no longer renew by Costco membership. I hate cancel culture just because someone disagrees with your position, especially a political position pushed by George Soros group of MoveOn.org members!

  9. THEY ARE PUTTING A COSTCO IN WEST LITTLE ROCK, AR.
    I WILL NOT SHOP THERE!!!!
LEFT WING IDIOTS ARE NOT BUYING VOTER FRAUD WHEN IT’S BEEN PROVEN.
    THERE ARE OTHER STORES.

  10. Ridiculous that because you don’t vote the same, or think the same, you can try to destroy a persons business!

  11. I don’t believe that a small minority has the right to change things for the rest of us. Why is there no criticism of what the democrats are doing to the country and stop an American from making a living! If people do not like the views made, just don’t buy the product. Nothing should be banned from stores because everyone out there does not feel the same. MoveOn is just another way of dissention.

  12. Right, but if someone were to call for a blanket boycott of a product made by a Progressive hero, the Lib World would explode with anguished whining and crying. It’s not fair, it’s not inclusive, I can hear it now.

Yeah, right. Their idea of tolerance, love, peace and inclusion is entirely one-sided. It fits their utterly hypocritical outlook perfectly. Good for ME, but not for THEE, bad for THEE but not for ME, they scream.

I’m rapidly losing my own tolerance for those completely REPULSIVE “Progressive”people!

  13. Just wait, everybody. On August 10, 11 and 12, Mike Lindell is going to have a three day cyberconference on frankspeech.com. Has over a hundred cybersecurity experts and is inviting all state and national politicians to attend or to watch. Mike says that he has all of the data packets for the entire U.S. election. Data packets are the information that was exchanged between two distinct computers. They are non corruptible and can’t be hacked or changed. They also show what the IP addresses are for both the sending and receiving computers, the time the data packets were sent and the physical location (within a few hundred feet) of both computers. If you go to frankspeech.com and click on TV and then on the Absolute Series and watch some of those videos, it will give you hope that there may be a way out of all this mess. About 80% of the data packets during the election and that went to the voting machines came from China. This was an act of war. Spread the word about this conference. We need everybody to watch and learn exactly what happened during this election. After this I predict, there won’t be anymore voting machines and the correct President will be installed in the WH and the corrupt MSM and the democraps will fall from power.

  14. I have held a Costco membership in excess of 35 years. I dropped it this year because I’m tired of companies telling me how to think if I shop their store. Will order directly from the MyPillow website. Side note—Don’t forget to catch the 72 hour symposium on the Mike Liddell website, August 10, 11 and 12. See for yourself how the evil Left STOLE the November 3, 2020 election.

  15. My membership is coming due soon. Have been considering whether or not to renew. Seems I have my answer. I hate it when the left doesn’t agree with something, instead of just walking away, they have to destroy.

  16. Our country was found by persons with bigger dreams of freedom and self starter and to be an individual and work with everybody as. Needed. Not acted as a dictator but a person works with every person of this free nation of our.

  17. I avoid most large organizations if I have other options. They are too beholden to CCP as both suppliers and markets. They are anti American sell outs. Kudos to Mike Lindell for trying to look into the election irregularities. Why is he being demonized for doing tge job that our elected officials and the courts should be looking into?

  18. I’d rather buy straight from MyPillow any way, however I will for sure never buy anything from Costco again.

  19. Dennis C. is clearly operating exactly as all fascists that hate freedom operate. It will be glorious when his side comes and turns on him

  20. Just amazing how sensitive Costco was to few left wing radicals teaching how to influence big business, hmmm Twitter petition to remove left wing trashy people like Biden?

  21. You are what is wrong with this country. Everyone is political and think they have The right to destroy people for their personal beliefs. Aweful! Why don’t you take your bias to a blue state!

  22. Bed Bath and Beyond did this same thing a couple of years ago. I have not entered one of their stores since. Liberals are nuts!

  23. Cancel culture at its worst. Conservatives need to play the same game and boycott progressive companies like Twitter, Facebook, Nike, etc.!!

  24. Yeah Screw COSTCO I bought my dogs beds from MYPILLOWS, online and they love it they get a good night sleep and so do I. When my babies are happy mama is 😊😁

  25. Lindell did not do what they expected and lay his workers off. How much better it would have made Costco execs feel if they had been able to put a few hundred Americans out of work. They were not prepared to deal with an honest man.

  26. I for one will never buy anything from Costco under any circumstances. They want to stake out
political battle lines, there are 50% of the people in this country that should boycott Costco. Do that for a year and watch their stock price, hurt them where it really hurts. Maggots.

  27. There is a Costco soon to open here in Springfield, MO. I was going to join up , but now have changed my mind. This happens to be a red Trump area.

  28. Thanks to him, I won’t be renewing my membership and will discontinue shopping there and I won’t hesitate telling others.

  29. Who cares anyone can buy My Pillow products direct from Mike Lindell at My pillow dot com or frankspeech dot com, everything that Lindell sells is of higher quality than anything that Costco has to offer.
Lindell offers you the discount that the stores pocket so far I love the sheets flannel and summer with giza cotton are top notch luxurious, the towels that indeed dry my hair and body, the pijamas are also unreal, the slippers comfy and warm, even my dog has a my pillow bed she had 2 Costco ones and she prefers my pillow 4 inches deep definitively she likes confort.
For honeymooners and everyone else, my pillow striped Giza sheets are great.

  30. There’s quite a lot of people who side with, who believe in and trust Mike Lindell. What’s being done to him, and many other TRUE PATRIOTS, PEOPLE THAT BELIEVE IN THE CONSTITUTION, BELIEVE IN FREEDOM & LESS GOV’T,!!! Plenty of people who’ll stand by him, people that believe in our FLAG (American flag only) THAT STILL BELIEVE IN “ONE NATION UNDER GOD”.

  31. We were distressed by Costco’s mindless embrace of the Bamster, but we have to buy somewhere. We will drop Costco if we can find a decent competitor NOT run by progressive ideologues. In the meantime we placed a HUGE order from MyPillow and were delighted with the pillows, sheets and bathrobe. Costco just lost a fine source of business.

  32. Well, Dennis C., you’re a real friggin’ hero! I mean it! Your ignorance is astounding! Mike Lindell has a proven track record of success, you, on the other hand have just shown us that you can try to ruin that with tweets from your momma’s basement. You are a real twit!

  33. This “DennisC.” Is a whiney guy (I think he’s a guy), who thinks that, as progressives do, he has a responsibility to make the world work his way because, of course, he is smarter and a better person than everyone else, especially conservatives. He obviously believes everything mainstream media tells him, and has chosen to be some sort of banner carrier for all the fake news.
I liked Costco, too, but now I’m going to join Sam’s Club.

  34. As a private citizen he has done more to drive away independents and support similar left wingnuts than any other politician or person. Go away!

  35. No problem. People will simply buy on line direct? Mike Lindell is a true patriot and a wonderful success story. His products are very much loved and sought after. Costco lose out , not this great man In God we trust always Amen <3

  36. Welcome to the Progressive gulag. We are getting more like Russia every day when you can purge and penalize any legitimate business because they are conservatives.
