FIRE’s report notes that the university sought to muzzle a student journalist for reporting critically on the university’s handling of the pandemic. In an email from the University or resident assistants, it threatened them “[i]n the real world, if you bad mouth your employer you could lose your job,” seemingly unaware that as a public university, it could not censor free speech.
“Not satisfied with just silencing RAs, a week later, when The Baltimore Sun cited student reporter Cassie Conklin’s critical reporting on the university’s pandemic response, FSU cooked up a bogus claim against her. Despite video evidence to the contrary, FSU accused Conklin of harassment. The university also demanded The Bottom Line investigate Conklin and report its findings to administrators — a clear violation of the publication’s editorial independence,” writes the report.

Is it my memory of this article OR, are there more schools located in NY than all the rest located in a single state?
IF ANY COLLEGES ARE PUSHING THEIR ANTI-AMERICANISM EGENDA ON STUDENTS, THEY SHOULD BE DEFUNDED FROM RECEIVING ANY KIND OF GOVERENT FUNDS EVER MORE. AL LOT OF THESE COLLEGES HAVE BEEN PUSHING THEIR ANTI-AMERICAN AGENDAS FOR THE PAST 50 YRS. THIS NEEDS TO BE STOPPED, ONCE AND FOR ALL.
