The insects are called Cicadas. They threats they pose are just pure media lies. These insects are harmless. They hatch from the ground – mate – males die and females lay eggs before they die. Eggs hatch and the newborns go under ground to grow for 17 years and do it all over again. They do not kill trees either – more BS – from the liberal left.
