Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell slammed President Joe Biden on Wednesday over his broken campaign promises.

McConnell declared that Biden’s first 100 days had been a massive disappointment, especially in light of his former campaign promises to reach across the aisle.

As The Hill reports:

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Wednesday pronounced President Biden’s first 100 days a massive disappointment and accused the president of breaking his campaign promise to bring the nation together in the wake of a tumultuous 2020.

McConnell ticked through what has become a familiar list of Republican grievances with Biden: his decision to shut down the Keystone XL pipeline; passage of the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan without any Republican votes; introduction of H.R. 1, a Democratic proposal to overhaul the nation’s election laws; the decision to withdraw U.S. troops from Afghanistan; and his handling of the migrant surge at the southern border.

“President Biden pledged he would be ‘A president for all Americans’ with plans to repair, restore and heal,” McConnell said on the Senate floor Wednesday morning, noting that Congress remains closely divided with a 50-50 Senate and a slim Democratic majority in the House.

  1. Suddenly “The Turtle” has something to say? Dry up and die old man. Where were you when Trump needed you to have some balls and stand up and work for him? GMAFB

  2. While I agree Mitch is a wuss and typical swamp dweller I give him credit for speaking out although it was pretty lame and diplomatic. Better to say “Biden is a cancer to our country, a hopeless Brain dead Socialist who wants to destroy America so he and his druggie son can buy Epstein’s island and live in luxury and where Junior can get wasted everyday without anyone seeing what a loser he is.

    1. The republican party now is doing what it does best, and that is talk. We have the old all talk do nothing republican party which is back in power.

  3. Mitch you are a fool to think PINO Joe will unify any one! He is following the orders of his Chinese overlords ! And doesn’t care what you, or anyone else, says or does.

    1. Joe and the democrat party are doing a great job of unifying the socialist and the progressives of the democrat party.

  4. McConnell shouldn’t be the leader of the Senate Republicans anymore, Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, Rand Paul, Tim Scott or Marsha Blackburn are better choices…

  5. This President is so much of a disappointment it scared me, his thinking is outrageous, he has done the exact opposite of what he promised.

  6. A unified and bipartisan approach on providing the American people access to medical care is absolutely crucial for the American people. Trump , both as candidate and President, has been promising the American people a "terrific," "phenomenal" and "fantastic" new healthcare plan to replace the Affordable Care Act. Throughout the 2020 campaign Trump claimed on numerous occasions that the proposed ACA replacement would be released in "2 weeks". At the same time the Trump administration filed a brief with the Supreme Court requesting that the Court issue a decision totally repealing the ACA. If Trump, McConnell and the GOP want to 'repeal and replace' the ACA where is the plan to replace? They have had 11 years to come up with a plan. The Democrats cannot unify the country around something with nothing and Trump, McConnell and the GOP have had 11 years to develop and propose a replacement for the ACA (though it is interesting to note that the original Republican strategy was to Repeal the ACA and only the popularity of the ACA led to the inclusion of 'replace'). As of now McConnell and the Republicans are on a course to repeal the ACA, and with no proposed replacement, 23 million Americans will be without affordable access to medical care. I would propose that the GOP propose a medical access planw which could then lead to negotating a unified bipartisan approach to meeting a critical nee4d of the American people.

  8. Biden never had any intention to unify the Country. That was just Democrat campaign talk, and Biden’s divisive and radical policy positions were always evident to anyone paying attention. Biden has always been a highly partisan professional politician and a leopard doesn’t change its spots.

  9. McCONNELL IS A LOSER!!!!!! HE CAN NOT DECIDE WHAT TO SAY AND STICK WITH IT????????? IT IS ALL IN “HOW THE WIND BLOWS”??????? BIDEN HAS NOT KEPT HIS PROMISES??????????
