Georgia voters will soon have the opportunity to decide Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler and Democrat Raphael Warnock’s fate in a January runoff election.

Warnock’s views appear too extreme for Georgia at first glance. Now we know that the Atlanta pastor has deep ties to a church that openly welcomed the late Cuban Dictator Fidel Castro. (The Western Journal)

Warnock was a youth pastor at Abyssinian Baptist Church when they hosted an event for Castro in 1995, Fox News reported Monday.

Castro was visiting New York City to address the United Nations General Assembly.

The Warnock campaign said that he was not a decision-maker at the church at the time, according to Fox.
