Former U.S. Congressman and repeated presidential hopeful Dr. Ron Paul appeared to suffer from a medical emergency during a live-feed on YouTube this afternoon.
The feed was immediately cut short after Paul almost instantaneously switched from speaking coherently to becoming unintelligible while the left-side of his face exhibited signs of paralysis.
Well-wishes for the libertarian hero poured in from across the internet.

Fox News reported that Paul swiftly arrived at the hospital for “precautionary reasons.” The speculation that Paul suffered a stroke has not been confirmed by anyone.

At 3:00 pm ET, Paul’s Twitter account posted a photo of the 85-year-old giving a thumbs-up from his hospital bed.
