Case in point: New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who’s writing a book about his response to the coronavirus pandemic, which defies reality by any objective measure.

Cuomo’s national profile has risen dramatically during the pandemic, partially from glowing coverage courtesy of the mainstream media — at least initially.

While many pundits anointed Cuomo as the Democratic Party’s newest savior, it took him two months to reverse a decision requiring long-term care facilities to accept patients regardless of their Covid-19 status.
Fox News’ Evie Fordham reports:
“Cuomo mismanaged New York’s coronavirus response. Tens of thousands in nursing homes unnecessarily died, and his arrogance spread the virus unnecessarily across the country. Democrats are now allowing him to lecture the rest of us,” Trump campaign aide Andrew Clark tweeted after the governor’s Democratic convention speech slamming the Trump administration’s pandemic response.
Some of the criticism also has come from Fox News senior meteorologist Janice Dean, who lost her in-laws to coronavirus.
“They got sick and they couldn’t take care of themselves or each other and they were in separate assisted living facilities, hoping that we were going to get them together,” she said. “Then COVID-19 came in play and took the lives of both of them. I want answers. I want accountability.”
Dean weighed in on the book news on Tuesday.

How does crap like this keep happening in America? Our Constitutional Republic was built on the Rule of Law, but killers, liars and thieves are not arrested and they continue to speak and prosper. It’s been 4 years and multiple investigations, but the indictments haven’t even been opened. If Trump loses, all of these corrupt, dishonest criminals will be free without charges or penalty. This just shouldn’t occur in America.
