Free College would bankrupt the American government and that is not an exaggeration. After the Government took action to provide student loans to all Americans these institutions saw an opportunity to continuously raise the price of admission and classes. If Bernie Sanders were to go through with this promise then these institutions would raise the price further to a point where it just can not be paid by anyone. Free College would mean more taxes and cuts to other programs.
