Bernie Sanders is planning to ban fracking once he is elected. There is no solid evidence that suggests fracking is destroying the planet, destroying crops, or poisoning drinking water. The evidence for these things is relatively weak, there is already tight government oversight over the process and the industry is very important when it comes to keeping gas prices low. A ban on fracking would result in Americans paying way more at the pump.
