A leftist group’s attempt to cast conservatives as dangerous racists backfired spectacularly when it revealed its own supporters were the most likely to support assassination.
A poll by the Southern Poverty Law Center and Tulchin Research reveals younger Democrat men were the group most likely to advocate “assassinating a politician who is harming the country or our democracy.”
The Southern Poverty Law Center is a massive left-wing fundraising operation, centered entirely on producing polls and reports that classify conservatives as racists, terrorists and potential threarts.
The poll, which surveyed Republicans and Democrats, and broke out the results by age and gender, asked Americans their views on race and violence in politics.
Despite their intent to make Republicans look threatening, 44% of younger Democrat men backed assassination as a political tactic, the highest level of support of any group.
It also found:
Most younger Democrat men believe “gender ideology has corrupted our culture,” by a 47% to 41% margin.
Most younger Democrat men believe “feminism has done more harm than good,” by a 46% to 41% margin. The 46% of younger Democrat men who agreed was higher than the 42% of older Republican men who agreed.
42% of younger Democrat men believe “transgender people are a threat to children,” higher than young Republican women (29%) and older Republican men (30%.)
60% of younger Democrat men believe “men should be represented and valued more in society,” the only Democrat group to believe that and more than young Republican women (71%) and older Republican women (52%.)
