In a press conference stunner, President Joe Biden openly celebrated crippling increases in gasoline prices as part of an “incredible transition” to a global liberal scheme to eliminate the use of oil and natural gas.

And when it comes to the gas prices, we’re going through an incredible transition that is taking place that, God willing, when it’s over, we’ll be stronger and the world will be stronger and less reliant on fossil fuels when this is over,” Biden in a press conference in Japan after meeting with Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

“Biden refers to the skyrocketing gas prices as an ‘incredible transition.’ They’re saying the quiet part out loud now,” House Minority Whip Steve Scalise posted to Twitter. “They’re causing you pain at the pump because it’s all part of their radical agenda.”

Biden’s comments came on a Monday that marked two consecutive weeks of rising gas prices, caused by crackdowns on drilling, supply chain lockups and skyrocketing inflation all caused by Biden-backed government policies.

They also come as global delegates fly on private jets to Stockholm, Sweden for the United Nations conference on how to cut off the world’s access to oil, natural gas and coal, in favor of failing government wind and solar experiments in which the world’s elite have invested heavily.

“Biden instituted policies some that say are anti-energy during his first hours in office, including canceling the Keystone XL pipeline that would have moved more than 800,000 barrels of crude oil per day from Canada to Texas, and “pausing” oil and gas leases on federal lands,” Fox News reports. “The Biden administration has also canceled multiple federal oil and gas lease sales, some as recently as this month amid the gas price surge.”

Despite the fact most credible economists say eliminating the use of oil, natural gas and coal would devastate global economies, send poverty skyrocketing and potentially kill millions, with no significant impact on global temperatures, radical leftists are pursuing it anyway.

The Institute for Energy Research predicts gasoline prices could reach $13 a gallon if the “Green New Deal,” a Democrat-authored package of radical leftist tax hikes and mandates packaged as “climate solutions,” were enacted.
